FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What auto repair services do you offer in San Diego?

Prestige provides a wide range of automotive services, including brake repair, check engine light diagnostics, engine repair, transmission service, suspension and steering repair, electrical repair, auto AC repair, oil changes, and factory-scheduled maintenance.

What should I do if my check engine light comes on?

A check engine light can signal anything from a loose gas cap to a more serious engine or emissions problem. If the light is flashing, or you notice poor performance, have your vehicle checked as soon as possible. A professional diagnostic inspection can identify the cause and the right repair.

Will I receive an estimate before repairs begin?

Yes. After inspecting and diagnosing your vehicle, our team explains what we found and provides an estimate before any repair work begins, so you can make an informed decision.

How often should I get an oil change?

Oil change intervals depend on your vehicle's make, model, engine, oil type, and driving conditions. We recommend following your manufacturer's maintenance schedule. Our technicians can help you determine the right interval for your vehicle.

Do you include a complimentary car wash with auto repair?

Yes. Qualifying automotive repair and maintenance services at Prestige include a complimentary car wash, so your vehicle leaves running better and looking cleaner. Contact us to confirm which services qualify.
